We are pleased to announce we have taken delivery of a second Kardex Automated system to fulfil the requirements of our customers – this aids our company to hold stock for quick deliveries, as and when the customer’s production demands the need to bring supply forward according to their blanket orders.

It is essential that we house the Hydraulic valves and assemblies in enclosed maintained storage areas, free from Ultra Violet light protecting the seals from damage and with the controlled temperature this prevents ageing of product.

With the Kardex systems in place this maximises the space within our factory – improves security as the product is locked up during overnight to prevent any unwanted access.

The automated system allows the products to be collected and brought to the access point whilst the operator is picking the customers’ orders – this improves efficiency and allows our company to operate in a lean and productive manner.

Continuous stock checking removes the need for annual audits for stock levels.

This is very positive addition to the Wandfluh UK Company, to increase storage area and facilitate the increase in production area to meet the continuing demand for our built products.

In the future plans we intend to put into the warehouse a new carousel for the larger product assemblies which will remove the need for forklifts to operate in the stores area maximising the space to allow Wandfluh UK to keep growing on the current site.
